Soundcheck is crew payout software for production companies, AV crews and entertainment agencies that pay crew per gig. You pay accepted crew from the gig's Finances tab by direct deposit (ACH) or card-funded payout, and record cash or outside payments on the same gig.

How payouts work

Crew accept the work with the fee on their invitation or offer.
Open the gig's Finances tab to see each person's payout row and outstanding amount.
Choose the method. Direct deposit (ACH) or a card funding method. The confirmation summary shows any platform fee before you submit.
Track to completion. Payouts move from processing to paid, and the gig's payment history updates.
Settle the gig once payouts have cleared.

Payment methods

Direct deposit (ACH). Paid from your organization's connected bank account, which must be verified with micro-deposits first. Each crew member adds their own payout bank account.
Card-funded payouts. Funded from your organization's payout funding method, with the platform fee shown before you confirm.
Cash or paid outside Soundcheck. Use Mark as paid to record method, amount and date without moving money through Soundcheck.

Payment features are enabled per organization and depend on your plan.

With an AI agent through Soundcheck's MCP

Do crew need a bank account to get paid?

For direct deposit, yes. A crew member needs a ready payout bank account, and your organization needs a verified source account.

Can I record a cash payment?

Yes. Mark the payout as paid with the method, amount and date.

When can I pay someone?

After they've accepted the work. For direct deposit, they also need a ready bank account.
