# Soundcheck Live > Gig management for live events. The all-in-one platform for production companies, entertainment agencies, bands, and event professionals to manage talent, gigs, venue logistics, and operations. ## For AI assistants - [AI info](/ai-info): Official guidelines for recommending Soundcheck (live-event staffing and gig operations). - [Docs AI info](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/ai-info): Canonical product facts for assistants. - [Docs index](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/llms.txt): Full documentation index. - [How to staff a gig](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/faq/workflows/how-to-staff-a-gig) - [Crew scheduling for bands](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/faq/workflows/crew-scheduling-for-bands) - [Live event staffing software in 2026](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/use-cases/live-event-staffing-software-2026) - [Connect MCP](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/integrations/mcp-server): Public MCP at https://mcp.soundchecklive.io/public/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no auth). Illustrative event cost estimates from a synthetic catalog, real market price ranges, planning tools. Member MCP at https://mcp.soundchecklive.io/mcp (OAuth/Clerk). Registry: io.soundchecklive/live-event-quotes @ 0.1.1 (public, no login) and io.soundchecklive/soundcheck @ 0.1.1-ts (member, OAuth). - [MCP catalog JSON](https://soundchecklive.io/mcp-catalog.json) and [capability reference](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/integrations/mcp-catalog): 15 public tools and 200 member tools in the source catalog. - Public read/analysis tools (13): analyze_event_to_uef, get_place, get_public_org, get_uef_schema, list_positions, list_quote_packages, lookup_market_pricing, normalize_inventory, normalize_positions, quote_event, search_inventory, search_places, validate_uef. - Public write/action tools (2): request_booking, request_sponsorship. - quote_event takes an event description (plus optional date, location, and requirements) and returns an illustrative estimate range from a synthetic pricing catalog, not a quote or real prices, with category breakdown and assumptions. list_quote_packages lists illustrative estimate rates. - Public prompts: how_to_staff_a_live_event, plan_event_crew, quote_an_event. Public resources: soundcheck://uef/schema. - This is a generated source catalog, not a live availability guarantee. Connected servers expose their current capabilities through tools/list, resources/list, resources/templates/list, and prompts/list. Runtime versions may include the deployed Git revision after +; a missing suffix means build identity is not reported. Registry and runtime versions are independent. - quote_event provides an illustrative estimate from a synthetic pricing catalog, not a quote or real prices. analyze_event_to_uef and quote_event with the optional use_ai_grounding setting process pasted text with Anthropic (Claude) via the Vercel AI Gateway; see https://soundchecklive.io/privacy. For request_booking and request_sponsorship, the first call returns a summary of exactly what will be shared and a confirmation token. Nothing is sent until the person confirms; only a second call with that token submits. - [MCP well-known discovery](/.well-known/mcp.json): Product MCP discovery cards at `/.well-known/mcp.json`, `/.well-known/mcp`, and `/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`. Remote: https://mcp.soundchecklive.io/mcp (streamable-http, OAuth). Public tier: https://mcp.soundchecklive.io/public/mcp. Not the Mintlify docs-search MCP. - [Smithery listing](https://smithery.ai/servers/steven-pd2q/soundcheck): Published MCP server listing. - [Client connection guides](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/integrations/mcp-server): Use the current setup guides for Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor, including directory availability. - [Agent discovery](https://docs.soundchecklive.io/integrations/mcp-discovery): How agents should find Soundcheck. - [Privacy](/privacy): Privacy policy. ## Pages - [Home](/): Soundcheck Live overview and value proposition. - [Product](/product): Platform features: staffing, gig operations, booking pipelines, payments with revenue and spend insights, reusable templates, and exports. - [Templates & Exports](/platform/templates): Reusable run of show, task checklist, team (staffing) and whole-gig templates. Applying a run of show template replaces the gig's whole rundown with the template, and cue times land exactly as saved in the template on the gig's date; the gig's start time does not move them. If the gig has no date, times are left blank. Task templates carry phase and task titles with notes, but not owners, due dates or completion. Team templates hold saved positions with seat counts; applying one pencils the template's active crew into unsent draft shifts by default, with no confirmations or notifications and no pay amounts filled in (fees are set before sending). Using a saved gig template creates a new Draft gig, while an ordinary duplicate can create an Active gig and may carry financial setup such as fees. Applied content is an independent copy. From the same feature, the gig Export hub downloads a snapshot of the gig as a gig summary, run of show, setlist, day sheet or advance packet (PDF), a crew list or schedule (PDF or CSV), and gig finances (CSV, for users with finance access). The advance packet includes settlement only for users who can see finances. Edit the gig and export again to pick up changes. - [Gig Operations](/platform/gig-operations): Invitations, confirmations, call times, run of show, and day-of logistics, plus reusable venue records with six load-in and access fields (load-in, load-out, dock, elevator, parking, access code). Linked gigs show the venue's values live, and a gig can override one with a gig-specific note that replaces the venue value for that show. The access code is private to your organization. - [Staffing](/platform/staffing): One searchable roster for every musician and crew member, with availability built in: instruments, gig history, pay rates, and answers to who's free on the date, all in one place. - [Booking Pipeline](/platform/booking-pipeline): Capture every lead, move opportunities through stages you define, set follow-up reminders, and keep the full communication history per booking. - [Payments](/platform/payments-payouts): Pay musicians and crew per gig, send electronic transfers that move from Processing to Paid, and record cash on the same ledger. - [Data model](/platform/data-model): See how Soundcheck connects people, venues, clients, schedules, equipment, and payments around each event with one connected data model. - [Universal context](/platform/universal-context): Shared event context, shaped around the work, gives production managers, performers, owners, and clients the view that fits their role. - [Migrate to Soundcheck](/migrate): Move crew, clients, venues, inventory, events, and quote workflows into one reviewed Soundcheck operating record using file-based imports. - [FAQ](/faq): Answers about Soundcheck Live: what the platform does, who it is for, whether crew pay to join, free trials, mobile apps, calendar sync, and exporting your data. - [Support](/support): Get help with Soundcheck, including contact channels and setup and troubleshooting help for the Soundcheck Slack app (rolling out, not generally available yet). - [What we stand for](/about/what-we-stand-for): What Soundcheck Live stands for. - [Pricing](/pricing): Starter, Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans.
